WinelingoThese terms govern your use of the Winelingo app, provided by Jonas Egeskov (“we”, “us”). By using the app you agree to them.
1. The service
Winelingo helps you identify wines, learn about them, and build a personal taste profile. Wine information, tasting notes and recommendations are educational and for general guidance only — they are not professional, dietary or medical advice. Please drink responsibly and in accordance with the law where you live.
2. Eligibility
You must be of legal drinking age in your country of residence to use Winelingo.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account.
4. Subscriptions (auto-renewable)
The current version of Winelingo is free and offers no in-app purchases. The terms below apply if and when an optional paid subscription is introduced.
- Winelingo Premium is offered as an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or annual). The price and any introductory free trial are shown in the app before you purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase.
- If you are offered a free trial, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the app: no reverse-engineering, no automated scraping of our content, no attempts to bypass the subscription, and no uploading of unlawful or infringing images. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. Content & intellectual property
The app and its educational content are owned by us or our licensors. Your own tastings and notes remain yours; you grant us the limited permission needed to store and process them to provide the service.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The app is provided “as is”. Wine identifications and recommendations are AI-assisted and may be inaccurate. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
